Newman's razor

Abstract: O'Doherty (b. 1935, Roscommon, also known as Patrick Ireland) is a conceptual artist and art critic of international repute. He studied medicine in UCD and science at Harvard, while also making art works. He is based in New York since 1960. Since the 1960s O'Doherty has produced a series of works based on the ancient Irish ogham alphabet. In this work the ogham words for 'One', 'Here' and 'Now' are incised into the steel.
