Abstract: Warren originally made this work for Castletown Cox, Co. Kilkenny based on a smaller version exhibited in ROSC '84 and now in the Dublin City Gallery the Hugh Lane. The work reveals his interest in balance and shows marked evidence of the way in which the sculptor allows the material to age naturally. Warren is one of Ireland's most acclaimed international artists.
