Three sources of information is collected with the purpose of getting an first impression of what risk and problems in the urban stormwater system is perceived as the most significant. The information was collected from European end users, European researchers and Danish water professionals, Data was organised in a matrix based on identification of objects and types of risk for all mentioned risks and barriers. The data was organized in 7 different objects and 7 different types of risk. Results show that there is good agreement between the different groups\342\200\231 perception of risk and problems although there also are some disagreements. All groups had great concerns for risks related to BMP\342\200\231s and new technologies and risks related to the environment. Risks related to hydraulics and volumes were ranked as the most important type of risk by all three groups. Observed differences identified between European and Danish end users illustrate that risks and problems are not perceived in a homogenous manner across Europe.
